Economic incentives compliance season is here and the Silverlode team is working hard to ensure our clients realize the full value of their awarded incentives. Amazingly, more than 50% of companies awarded incentives don’t fully capitalize on their financial incentives (100% of these are not Silverlode clients!). Remember to submit your forms this spring so your don’t leave money on the table.

While only a small part of Silverlode's work is in the public sector, our partnerships with our public sector clients are quite rewarding. Silverlode has provided economic development consulting services to the Village of Cuyahoga Heights for more than ten years.

Fire Chief Suhy wrote about our joint accomplishments in the Village's latest newsletter. We have helped the Village to secure more than $1.8 million in grants to help keep their firefighters and residents safe.

Congratulations to our clients, Dillin Corp and Rockbridge, who are among the recipients of Ohio Transformational Mixed-Use Development (TMUD) tax credits. Awards of the second annual round of in tax credits were announced today. The TMUD Program provides tax credits to encourage mixed-use developments that will catalyze future development in the immediately surrounding area.

Silverlode's Julie Dietz will be a speaker at the Institute of Professionals In Taxation's 2022 Credits and Incentives Symposium in Tuscon, Arizona on November 7. She will present a regional update on tax credits and incentives.
